Software / Application Service
Software/Application Service: provides ESDC employees with access to software and applications required to meet their business productivity needs. This service includes (as required) procurement, licensing, installation, account creation, transfer, removal, and password reset. There are three basic types of software and applications provided and supported:
- Standard software package for the functioning of an employee’s PC or laptop which includes but is not limited to the operating system, anti-virus, email and MS Office Suite;
- Other commercially available productivity software, which is available, based on business line requirements and departmental standards; and
- Internally-developed or commercially-adapted business solutions as required, e.g. Corporate Management System (CMS)
