2. What should I know about Adobe Flash Player?

Effective December 31, 2020, Adobe Flash Player will no longer be updated or supported by the vendor.

In January 2021, a combination of Windows updates and browser updates will automatically remove Flash Player from all departmental computers.

3. What if I have created content using Adobe Flash Player? Will it still work after January 1, 2021?

Applications and multimedia content dependent on Flash Player, such as training materials in Saba, must be upgraded to use other formats, such as HTML5. Employees who need help to move to an alternative format may submit a ticket to the National Service Desk for more guidance.

4. Why is Adobe Flash Player being removed from departmental computers?

When Adobe ceases to support Flash Player in December 2020 it will be a security risk if left in place.
