Step 2 - Complete the HRSC Pay Related Action Form
An HRSC - Pay Related Action request must be submitted by the manager with Section 34 financial delegation, in order for the Pay Centre to stop the employee's pay and finalize the compensation and benefits.
Important
The HRSC Pay Related Action request form is Not required for the following departures:
- End of Contract - when the contract End date is not changing
(Term, Casual, Student, Part Time Worker Employment) - Secondment Out and Interchange Out

Types of departure:
A. Permanent departure
- Abandonment of Position
- Death in service
- Discharge for misconduct
- Early end of contract/term
- End of contract
- Medical Retirement
- Rejection on probation
- Release for incapacity
- Resignation
- Retirement
- Transfer to another department
- Unsatisfactory performance
B. Temporary departure
Leave Without Pay. Employee is temporarily leaving the department for an absence such as:
- Care for the family
- Employee applying for Disability Insurance (Sun Life)
- Employee applying for Long-Term Disability Insurance (Industrial Alliance)
- Maternity / Parental and Paternity (Quebec residents)
- Maternity/Parental (Except Quebec resident)
- Personal Needs
- Relocation of Spouse
- Self-funded leave
- Sick – ( > 10 days)
- Suspension – 6 days or greater
Note: There is no need to complete a Pay Action Request (PAR) form as this will be done by the Compensation Directorate when the request is sent to the Pay Centre for processing.
