HRSC Web Application

The Human Resources Service Centre (HRSC) Web Application is one of the most widely used HR business systems for all EDSC employees. The integrated service offer provides a single entry point for most areas of the HRSB.

Initially limited to employees with a supervisory role, the employee can now submit a pay escalation issue, request assistance with a myEMS (PeopleSoft) module, send a conflict of interest disclosure and, initiate his own separation process for a temporary or permanent departure.

The HRSC Web Application support team is part of HR Business Systems, and provides the application maintenance service by coordinating the development of improvement projects, troubleshooting with users and managing administrative components. There are two channels for asking a question, reporting a problem or submitting a suggestion:

  1. From the home page of the HSRC Web Application, choose the General HR Enquiry Request Form, the HR Business Systems category and the appropriate subcategory.
  2. Send an email to the general email account NA-HRSC-CSRH-WEB-APP-GD. However please ensure that the nature of the email is technical, not an HR one.

Examples of emails handled by the HRSC Web Application support team include:

  • Technical difficulty in submitting a request
  • Inability to use a feature
  • Question on the use of features
  • Submission of a comment/suggestion that targets the application

Here are examples of emails not processed by the support team

  • Technical question that relates to another system (myEMS (PeopleSoft), Saba, SAP, etc.).
  • Submission of a pay problem or pay-related action
  • Confirmation of steps to follow or documents to be provided in the process of an HR action
  • Request information or follow up on an existing request
  • Search for an HR contact for processing a request

Requests and emails are usually processed in the order of receipt and a first contact is usually made within 48 to 72 hours. An email or request on which we raise a priority context will receive the first contact within a maximum of 24 hours.
