VPN and Remote Access
VPN, or a Virtual Private Network, is a secure connection through a public network, such as the Internet, to another network, such as EDSC. A departmentally approved VPN connection requires an approved agreement between the employee and manager, a departmentally-provisioned work station (generally a laptop), software that creates the VPN connection, and up-to-date virus software.
