Set the stage for entire absence
The manager and employee should:
- Agree on a Staying Connected Schedule;
- Discuss Leave Substantiation protocols;
- Discuss Income Maintenance;
The manager should:
- Educate employee on Sick Leave Without Pay protocols;
- Refer to the Employee Assistance Program (EAP);
* Please note that the duration of Paid Sick Leave depends on the number of Sick Leave credits in the employee’s bank.
