Set the stage for entire absence

The manager and employee should:

• Agree on a Staying Connected Schedule;
• Discuss Leave Substantiation protocols;
• Discuss Income Maintenance;

The manager should:

• Educate employee on Sick Leave Without Pay protocols;
• Refer to the Employee Assistance Program (EAP);

* Please note that the duration of Paid Sick Leave depends on the number of Sick Leave credits in the employee’s bank.
