Description

Managers and supervisors learn about the department’s Workplace Violence Prevention Policy and their roles and responsibilities with regards to workplace violence. Participants will learn the processes for resolving incidents of workplace violence using the Canada Labour Code, Part II, Part XX of the Canada Occupational Health and Safety Regulations, and the Departmental Workplace Violence Prevention Policy; they will also learn about the resources available for managing and resolving incidents of workplace violence.

Registration Process

Follow the instructions below to access the training.

  1. Go to the SABA website.
  2. Select your language.
  3. Log into SABA.
    • If you are a first time user, you will need to create an account (PDF, 272 KB) before proceeding.
  4. Use the Learning Catalogue search function, search for the course name or the SABA course code.
  5. Select a class based on the language in which you prefer to take the course and click Enroll.
  6. Wait for approval notification from your supervisor (You will be notified through Outlook and through the message notification function within SABA).
