2017 ESDC Workplace Mental Health Survey (Baseline)
Objective
The Survey aimed to measure employee experiences of psychological health and safety within the work environment. Our main goals were to identify and assess areas of strength and of concern for us to know where to take corrective action and make a difference in workplace culture.
Survey administrator
The survey was conducted by the Human Resources Services Branch on behalf of the Implementation Committee for ESDC’s Integrated Framework on Mental Health in the Workplace.
Survey Respondents
We reached out to over 6,900 ESDC employees and almost half (48%) responded to our survey. Our results come from the feedback provided by these 3,140 individuals, and represent employees from Employment and Social Development (23.1%), Service Canada (74.1%) and the Labour Program (2.9%).
