Meet Élise Boisjoly, our new Senior Disclosure Officer

We are pleased to announce that Élise Boisjoly, Assistant Deputy Minister of the Integrity Services Branch, has accepted the role of Senior Disclosure Officer (SDO).

The SDO plays an important role in the Department by providing a safe mechanism for employees to disclose wrongdoing. Wrongdoing refers to serious actions that are contrary to the public interest, as defined in the Public Servants Disclosure Protection Act. The SDO is responsible for dealing with disclosures of wrongdoing made by employees while protecting the identity of persons involved in the disclosure process. Additionally, the SDO reports the findings of investigations and makes recommendations for corrective action when wrongdoing is found.

We encourage you to come forward if you have a wrongdoing to disclose. By coming forward, you will help uphold our public sector values and expected behaviours, as described in the ESDC Code of Conduct. You will also be promoting ethical practices and helping to make our department a place where employees are proud to work.

To disclose a wrongdoing or to submit an enquiry, visit the Disclosure of Wrongdoing intranet page on iService or contact the Office of Values and Ethics. Rest assured that every enquiry is treated confidentially.
