Wireless Devices

Wireless Devices include Blackberrys, tablets, smart phones and cell phones. Only departmentally issued or authorized wireless devices should be connected to your computer or laptop.

Use only authorized and approved Wireless Connectivity (WIFI).
Ensure you use a wireless connection appropriately and within the parameters of the Values and Ethics Code for the Public Sector and the TBS Policy on Acceptable Network and Device Use.
Use a passkey to lock your device when its not in use. Protect this password as you would any other.
Immediately contact your manager and the National Service Desk if your device is lost or stolen.
