Accessing OICM services is easy!

  1. Contact the OICM by telephone or email. All discussions are confidential.
  2. The OICM will designate an informal conflict management (ICM) practitioner who will contact you by email to make an appointment.
  3. The initial consultation will be held at a time and place of your choosing. With the help of the practitioner, you will explore the options available to you and select the one that best suits your needs.

New – Talking Circles for Managers An informal service that consists of a sharing process for managers’ use that can be done virtually or in person and are intended to cultivate interdependence within groups to improve morale, confidence, connection between people and productivity. Consultation: Discuss a work situation in which you are directly or indirectly involved and explore options to manage it.  
Conflict Coaching: Develop your conflict management skills and find creative, effective and constructive ways to prevent, manage and resolve conflicts on your own. Conflict coaching handout
Facilitated conversation: Discuss with the other party in an attempt to understand each other's point of view and generate solutions.  
Mediation: Set up a safe and confidential discussion forum to tell your story, examine needs and interests of each, propose sustainable solutions and reach an agreement. Mediation handout
Mediation - What's in it for me?
Group Conflict Intervention: Identify the issues causing conflict(s) and explore or resolving them within your group in order to increase its efficiency.  
Presentations: We make ourselves available to teams and management committees to present our services and conflict resolution related subjects.  
Training workshops: Offered in-person or online, our workshops develop awareness regarding the role of each person in conflict situations and develops the capacity to resolve conflict. Go to the Training for employees page for more details.
Coaching program for supervisors: Offered under several themes, those programs allow the participants to increase their confidence and skills to deal with difficult situations in the workplace. Go to the Training for managers page for more details.
