Code and Regulations
Canada Labour Code, Part II (CLC-II)
Defines the legislative obligations for occupational health and safety within federally regulated jurisdictions, including the federal public service.
Directive
- TBS/National Joint Council OHS Directive
Complements the Canada OHS Regulations by outlining the directive established by the Treasury Board Secretariat, in conjunction with the National Joint Council.
Policy and Program
Departmental OHS Policy
Outlines the department’s commitment to promote a healthy and safe workplace for all employees; prevent occupational injuries, incidents and illnesses; and prevent violence in the workplace, in accordance with the CLC-II, its regulations and the TBS/NJC OHS Directive.- Departmental OHS Program
Assigns responsibilities and duties to ensure the department is meeting its health and safety obligations, and provides the necessary tools to support the implementation and ongoing management of the program.
