How to submit a Telework Agreement in my EMS (PeopleSoft)

Welcome to the "How to submit a Telework Agreement in my EMS (PeopleSoft)" tutorial, designed specifically for employees.   

Let's begin!  

On the employee self-service homepage, click the Telework Agreement tile to open the Telework Requests page.  

Next, click on the Add Request button to open the Telework Agreement page. 

Using the calendar icon select the date that you would like to start teleworking. By default, PeopleSoft will auto-populate the Telework end date for one year after the chosen start date. If required, change the end date. 

Next, confirm the request type by using the drop-down menu. There are three options to choose from Full Time, Part Time and Ad Hoc.  For this example, we will select part time. 

Next, choose your request reason using the drop-down menu, and enter any applicable comments in The Reason Details box. 

Once completed, click on the Save as Draft button, located at the top right of your screen to generate your Telework Request ID.  

Click the next button to continue. 

Next, add the Telework Location and the Telework Phone by clicking the add button on each respective item to open a pop-up window, allowing you to confirm your information, and then click done. 

If the Telework Locations and or phone details are incorrect or missing, you can click on the Incorrect/Missing information link to update your information. 

Once your location and phone details are entered, move the slider from No to Yes.
  
When Full Time has been selected the schedule will be defaulted to full time, if Ad Hoc was selected you will not be required to enter a schedule. 

As a Part-Time schedule has been selected, click on the Add New Schedule button.  Use the sliders in the pop-up window to select Yes for each day you will be teleworking, then click Done. 

If needed, you may add additional schedules. 

Click the next button to continue. 

Carefully read the Security Attestation and the Employee Acknowledgement Attestation, followed by the Health and Safety Checklist and finally the Telework Conditions. To confirm and or accept each one move the slider to yes. Then click Next to continue. 

Review your personal details and your telework details, then verify the manager listed in the Select Reviewer (Manager) field.  This field will default to the manager you are currently reporting to in PeopleSoft.

If this data is incorrect, you may use the look up icon to search for and select the name of your actual manager. 

Next, enter any applicable comments and click the Submit button.

After submission, your request will need to be recommended by your manager and sent for approval.
