If, at your remote work location, you need to shred protected information, the preferred approach is to make the necessary arrangements to bring the documents to your designated workplace and using the RCMP-approved shredders in accordance with the Information Categorization Tool. If returning to the designated workplace is not possible, you must speak to your manager to arrange to have a temporary departmental-approved provided to you.
