OHS Learning Codes

Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) training and awareness activities are designed to promote a healthy and safe workplace.

Modules include:

  • awareness/training sessions for employees, managers and committee members on understanding their respective OHS obligations and duties (these modules are currently being updated)
  • awareness sessions for employees and wardens on fire/emergency procedures and duties
  • specialized training sessions for ergo coaches and first-aid attendants

OHS training is one of the required reporting elements under the Management Accountability Framework. In an effort to better track OHS training and awareness activities across the ESDC portfolio, several new learning codes have been created. For a complete list of codes and descriptions, consult the national learning codes list (PDF, 177 KB).
