Brief Description of Life Experience:

A close family member has struggled with addictions since 2001. I have experienced the challenges of supporting family affected by addiction. I also struggle with my own mental health challenges and have experienced episodes of depression from which I recovered. Living with depression is an ongoing challenge I have learned to embrace; understanding my own mental health has helped me appreciate myself. Living with mental illness has taught me many things –the importance of self-care; the importance of seeking the right help; and most importantly that it's ok to not to be ok. I am here to listen and provide you hope and support. No one is alone.
