Brief Description of Life Experience related to Mental Health:

I am a single mother of two amazing teen boys. My lived experience begins with childhood traumas which started me on a journey of self-discovery and healing in my early 40’s. After my marriage broke up I struggled, but was determined, to make a better life for my children and I. When I deployed to Kamloops, BC in 2010 I met an amazing support network of various healers such as Peruvian Shamanism, meditation, yoga and natural medicine. I learned that the journey to wellness begins with me and I approach it in a holistic fashion. Recently, a close relative lost her husband of 30 years and fell into a deep depression and she doesn’t drive so she relocated provinces to live with me so that I could support her. I am blessed with the wisdom of Shamanic training and Traditional principles as an Indigenous woman and I want to share them with you; to give you hope and inspire you on your own healing journey. I am here to listen and offer any support I can.
