ESDC Visible Minorities Network

ESDC Visible Minorities Network

Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC)’s Visible Minorities Network (VMN) provides employees a forum to work together to address the needs, issues, concerns and challenges of members of visible minorities within ESDC.

The ESDC VMN is the largest diversity community with over 6000 employees and more than 500 active members.

We welcome all ESDC employees who are committed to creating and sustaining an inclusive and respectful workplace.

VMN members work with employees, management and executives to facilitate a broader understanding of issues impacting the inclusion of visible minority employees and serve as a consultative body on visible minority-related issues within ESDC. We welcome all interested parties to get involved.

Our mandate is to:

  • Raise awareness.
  • Support the building and sustaining of a welcoming, inclusive and representative ESDC.
  • Help break down barriers that inhibit the full participation of visible minority members within ESDC.
