Employees with Disabilities Network (EwDN) 2019 By-Elections

Good Day, I want to congratulate the candidates that were elected or acclaimed (QC) in the final round of the elections for positions as executives in the Employees with Disabilities Network. We will be sending out a Winter Newsletter shortly providing updates. As a Network we have a significant amount of work ahead working on the Public Service Accessibility Strategy (PSAS) and the development of updated Duty to Accommodate directives and tracking. As I indicated at our last Network meeting we will be reaching out very shortly through the executive to see who would like to participate in the activities that will becoming forward for the PSAS. You might have a certain passion for one of these Pillars:

  1. Improving recruitment, retention, and promotion of persons with disabilities.
  2. Enhancing the accessibility of the built environment.
  3. Making information and communications technology (ICT) usable by all.
  4. Equipping public servants to design and deliver accessible programs and services.
  5. Building an accessibility-confident public service.

It is great to see that we have a fully formed EwDN Executive:
