The IEC is a national network where Indigenous employees can share, learn and connect with their Indigenous and non-Indigenous colleagues.

Our Vision

A culturally sensitive, inclusive and representative work environment that supports ESDC and Government of Canada priorities.

The IEC's National Council works to:

• Create a comfortable sense of community for Indigenous employees;
• Promote awareness of Indigenous cultures; and
• Provide a forum for departmental consultation on issues and policies that impact First Nations, Métis and Inuit employees.
