Joint-Learning Program (JLP) – DTA Workshop

Description

There are two options for this workshop. The one-day version of this workshop will focus on what is meant by “duty to accommodate” and the legal framework that guides it. Through workplace scenarios you will explore different forms of accommodation and how to successfully address them. You will examine the rights and responsibilities of employees, the union and the employer in the application of workplace accommodation. The one-and-half day version of this workshop offers the opportunity to apply the concepts more deeply by reviewing a process for accommodating an employee and analysing adjudicated case studies.
