Procurement Roadmap

  2. 2 of 4
  3. 3 of 4
  4. 4 of 4

This step-by-step is intended to give clients an overview of the four main phases in the procurement process, and provides links to tools, templates and training.

The role of a project authority/program expert is to define the need and ensure the documents and actions in the procurement process match with those needs (in the requirement file).

The ESDC Procurement Team (the CFOB Procurement Specialist assigned to your Purchase Requisition) will meet your purchasing needs in the federal government purchasing context, in accordance with related rules and procedures and documents (which they record in the procurement file).

Overall, clients and procurement specialists must exercise the highest ethical standards and transparency in their procurement dealings.

All purchases of goods and services must be enacted through a contract or the use of an acquisition card.

See the Roles and Responsibilities page (coming soon) for a definition of the roles used herein.

We welcome your questions and encourage you to contact the ESDC Procurement Team early in the procurement process so that we may provide you with timely advice and guidance.
