New Standing Offers (SO's) for Translation and Transcription Services, Comparative Editing and Source Text Editing
Procurement Bulletin 2019-1

In an effort to satisfy an ongoing departmental need for Translation Services, Comparative Editing, Source Text Editing and Transcription Services, the Procurement Planning and Advisory Services (PPAS) team awarded four (4) Standing Offers (SO’s).
When a requirement is identified, your branch Translation Coordinators will contact the highest-ranked Offeror to determine if the requirement can be satisfied by that Offeror.
If that Offeror is unable to meet the requirement, the next ranked Offeror will be contacted.
The Offeror’s order of ranking is as follows:
- 1st Ranked: Société Gamma (Ubiqus)
- 2nd Ranked: Opentext Corporation
- 3rd Ranked: Lionbridge Canada
- 4th Ranked: RTG Protech
The SO’s runs until September 30th, 2020 with two (2) additional 12-month periods.
The Process Guide for information on leveraging the SO’s will be posted on iService on May 1st, 2019.
Translation Services can also be acquired through the Translation Bureau within Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC).
