Update of the Procurement Requirement Form (PRF) – Accessibility Requirements

Procurement Bulletin 2021-01
January 2021

Accessibility requirements have been added to the Contracting Policy following the coming into force in June 2019 of the Accessible Canada Act.

In order to ensure that Contracting Authorities as well as Business Owners are documenting their procurement file accordingly, an update of the Procurement Requirement Form (PRF) has been performed, adding accessibility consideration related questions. Note that the questions will appear only when “New Requirement” is selected at question 1.

Therefore, the most recent version of the Procurement Requirement Form (PRF) must be used. It is available under section 2.3 “Purchase Requisition (PReq) Process” of the Procurement Roadmap, on iService.
