Cancel my Card

  1. You must inform the National Acquisition Card Team before transferring to another Department, terminating your employment or departing on an extended leave of absence as we must cancel your card to minimize the risk of fraud.
  2. The National Acquisition Card Program will close your account, but you are responsible for ensuring that all card documents and monthly reconciliations have been completed. You are also required to dispose of your card properly by destroying it (i.e. cutting it up).
  3. If you are planning on returning to your position after an extended period (6-months or more) and require a new Acquisition Card, you will have to resubmit the Acquisition Card Application and Expenditure Authorization form (ADM5061) and complete the Acquisition Card training on SIGA/Saba as a refresher.
