Programme Management Service Offering

IPPM enables and supports project and programme work by equipping the organization with methodologies, processes, standards, tools and training for project and programme managers. Various programme management service offerings have been developed to better deliver investment projects and programmes.

  • The Programme Management Advisor (PgMA) Role

The Programme Management Advisor (PgMA) Role

The role of the PgMA is to support Programmes from start to finish. The PgMA also provides support and guidance to projects within the programme and supports key stakeholders in each operational area through the change cycle of programmes.

  • Programme Visioning

    Programme Visioning

The programme vision provides a compelling picture of a better future, and is vital for gaining support and motivation across a wide range of stakeholders for your programme. The Programme Vision Workshop is designed to provide the client with an appreciation of the development of a programme vision statement and the importance it has on the overall programme. At the end of the workshop, the client will be able to outline a vision statement specific to a programme and obtain feedback directly from the facilitator prior to the end.

  • Onboarding

    Onboarding

Recognizing that the Programme Management Directive introduces new ways of delivering programmes, this service offering will take programme teams through each phase of the programme lifecycle, and provide an understanding of what is required within each programme phase, and what resources are available to support programme delivery.

  • Programme Governance

    Programme Governance

Programme governance is a key area for programme success, and is crucial for decision-making and clear accountability for the programme. The service offering will consist of an information session during Identifying a Programme (the first programme phase) and a workshop to further develop the programme's governance proposal during Defining a Programme (the second programme phase). This will help establish clear roles and responsibilities for how the programme will be managed and how decisions will be made.
